Founded by Swiss dermatologist Dr. Luigi L. Polla and led by his eldest daughter Ada Polla, Alchimie Forever® combines decades of dermatological expertise with a modern vision for clean and clinical skin care. Dr. Polla, internationally renowned Swiss dermatologist and pioneer in cosmetic dermatology and founder of Alchimie Forever®, is celebrated for his work in laser technology and his anti-inflammatory approach to skincare. As the first physician in Europe to introduce laser technology, Dr. Polla revolutionized aesthetic dermatology, using this advanced technology to treat children with port-wine stains and hemangiomas. His work transformed the field, not only by enhancing the physical appearance of his patients but by positively impacting their overall well-being—reinforcing his belief in the deep connection between how we look and how we feel.
Dr. Polla earned his dermatology specialization in Geneva, Switzerland, and later honed his expertise in cutaneous allergies at University Hospital Saint-Luc in Brussels. A two-year tenure at the Wellman Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, under the leadership of Professor Rox Anderson, further solidified his position as a leader in laser dermatology. Upon his return to Geneva in 1986, he opened his own practice, combining medical and cosmetic dermatology to improve the lives of patients of all ages.
Driven by his dedication to post-procedure, Dr. Polla began formulating topical anti-inflammatory treatments for his patients, marking the origin of Alchimie Forever’s clean and clinical skin care line. In 1997, his practice evolved into Forever Institut, Europe’s first fully integrated medical day spa, where cutting-edge treatments meet the art of self-care. Today, there are three Forever Institut locations in Switzerland (Geneva, Lausanne, and Nyon).
Dr. Polla remains at the forefront of dermatology, actively practicing at Forever Institut while guiding Alchimie Forever's product development. He is a founding member of the Swiss Society for Aesthetic Medicine and serves on the board of the International Union of Aesthetic Medicine. His work continues to shape the future of dermatology and skin care, blending science, innovation, and compassion.

Ada holds a Magna Cum Laude BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Georgetown University. She has been featured in prominent publications, podcasts, and earned numerous awards in the industry.
