Morning Routine: The Catherine Edit
Meet Catherine Horgan, wardrobe stylist and personal branding expert. Long-time friend of both the brand and our CEO, Catherine’s morning routine is filled with intention, pets (Bo her dog and cat Roo), and her most trusted Alchimie Forever essentials.
On wakeup time: “I’m an early bird, my mornings start at 5:15 am. I love the peace of sitting by the fire with Bo and beginning the day without any rush. I really treasure the quiet.”
On morning beverages: “Coffee. Always black. Bold & Brazen by TAYST, brewed on our Cuisinart single-serve coffee maker.”
On pajamas: “I love my pajamas from Roller Rabbit. The fabric is soft and cooling. My sleep ritual matters to me and I adjust what I wear depending on the season.”
On making her bed: “Am I the only one who can’t really start the day without making the bed? It’s a non-negotiable that brings an immediate sense of calm.”
On her favorite Alchimie Forever products: “At this point in my life, my skin needs a lot of hydration. I use the Alchimie Forever Kantic Brightening Moisture Mask multiple mornings a week, especially in the winter. Other must haves, all focused on moisture, are the Gentle Cream Cleanser, Rejuvenating Eye Balm, Kantic Calming Cream, Dry Skin Balm (which I use throughout the day), and of course the Peptide Lip Booster.”
On breakfast: “Protein! Eggs are my go-to and sunny-side up is my favorite.”
On exercise: “Exercise keeps me grounded, sane, and strong. I lift weights with a trainer a couple days a week and walk three to four miles daily. Time in nature is what truly restores me.”
On her beauty philosophy: “Beauty is one of my core values. For me, it lives in care and consistency … small, daily acts of attention. I focus on hydration, quality products, and rituals that support how I want to feel in my body. When you care for yourself thoughtfully, it shows in how you carry yourself.”
On her life philosophy: “Presence shapes everything. I believe in moving through life with clarity, choosing quality over excess, and creating alignment between how you live, how you dress, and how you lead.”
