A rising star

This fall, the cold weather (it already feels like winter!), the financial news, and more have taken their toll - on my skin and on my soul. But yesterday, something fabulous happened.

Every year, the Washington DC community and the Washington Business Journal choose a select few "Women Who Mean Business" - women from every industry who have made a difference in their communities, blazed a trail for others, and left a mark on Washington business. This year, I am among them, a "Rising Star" among the shining stars.

Last night, I met the other honorees (among them my girlfriend Kassie Rempel, founder of Simply Soles, who is as addicted to our 532nm foot cream as I am to her shoes). We networked, we bonded, we shared successes and war stories. We all left that dinner energized - and grateful.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you. To thank you for your business, for your support, for your kindness, for your help. Every contact, ever resource, every piece of advice you have given me has been invaluable in getting me here. Merci. Thank you.

Last night, a group of amazing business women made me feel fabulous. Please let me know how I can return the favor and do the same for you today.

With love,

Ada
