Dr. Luigi Polla
Dr. Polla pursued his medical studies in Geneva, Switzerland. After obtaining his MD with a specialization in dermatology, he moved to Brussels, Belgium, to broaden his experience in cutaneous allergies at Saint-Luc Hospital with Professor Jean-Marie Lachapelle. He then spent two years in Boston, MA, to gain expertise in laser dermatology at the Wellman Laboratory (affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital) with Professor Rox Anderson.
Upon his return in 1986, he opened his solo dermatology practice, and was soon recognized as the European expert and opinion leader on laser treatments in dermatology.
In December 1997, Dr. Polla and his wife Barbara transformed the dermatology practice into the first European medical spa, Forever Laser Institut, offering not only traditional services but also treatments performed under strict medical supervision.
Dr. Polla is the founder and past president of the Swiss Society for Esthetic Medicine, and a board member of the Committee on the International Union of Esthetic Medicine. Dr. Polla is the author of numerous articles on dermatology, laser surgery, and dermato-cosmetology.
